ISO Standards and Certifications

AS/NZS 4801 is an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) standard that was developed jointly by Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand. It provides a framework for organizations to effectively manage their occupational health and safety risks and comply with relevant legal and other requirements.

The standard sets out the requirements for an OHSMS, which includes the policies, procedures, processes, and resources necessary to manage occupational health and safety risks. It covers areas such as hazard identification and risk assessment, legal compliance, employee training and consultation, incident investigation and reporting, and continuous improvement.

AS/NZS 4801 is based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) model and is designed to be compatible with other management system standards, such as ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. The standard is intended for use by organizations of all sizes and types, in any industry or sector.
